Future Events Will Mihawk ever taking Shanks seriously again?

2 times manga showed the interaction between Mihawk and Shanks



Both times, Mihawk didn't take Shanks seriously.

So will this change in the future and somehow Mihawk got interested in dueling Shanks again?

If the answer is yes, how so?
Right now I have 3 available options:
1. By making Shanks regrows his arm, Duke Nekomamushi style.
2. By powering Shanks up, with Shanks finally able what he failed to do this whole time, which is making Gryphon into permanent black blade.
3. By raising Shanks' bounty, so he doesn't get the lowest bounty anymore among the original Yonkos (unlike with Shanks, Mihawk still got interest with Whitebeard (man with 5 bil+ bounty) in Marineford)

the level of respect that Mihawk have for Shanks ... making all the Shanks Vs Mihawk arguments ... a bit sad


- Shanks is the ONLY pirate he still respect
- He wanted to test Luffy and see if he was worthy for Shanks to lose his arm for him
- He APOLOGY from Shanks before attack Luffy
- he was THE FIRST MAN who leave Marine Ford as soon as Shanks came


Mihawk have highest levels of respect for Shanks

and I think Shanks too have high respect for him

a great human like him is willing to give his life if that's for greater good

Mihawk treated Shanks just like how he treated Krieg.
If that means taking Shanks seriously for you, then you really need to improve your reading comprehension by a bit. Just a friendly advice btw, no offense.

mihawk left the war ... cause he was a good boy who won't dare fight Shanks

even when Shanks is willing to
