Mihawk left Shanks because fighting Shanks in MF was not an agreement he had with WG and he respects Shanks too. He said sorry to Shanks when he had to stop Luffy.

Marco would not send Vista after Shanks if Shanks were the one who attacked Luffy. Vista was completely smiling in front of Mihawk, didn't show any sign of inferiority. Jozu casually blocked Mihawk's slash. Crocodile told Mihawk to back off.

Now let's see these people who disrespects Mihawk (Marco, Vista, Jozu) expression when Shanks came to WB ship. They show a huge amount of respect to Shanks.

if kaidos motivation was to kill WB, then the war might have not even happened, so i cant see how shanks stopping kaido is him saving kaido, sounds like some silly fanfiction tbh.

And then Navy rethinks about setting foot in Wano, despite it has been decades since Ryuma's death, and years since Oden's.
Yet Shanks is still alive and all, but pirates attacking his territories right and left.

I think Buggy, Kidd, Barto and Higuma didn't know Shanks well.

But Marco, Jozu and Vista knew Shanks well. Their expression when Shanks came to WB ship, they showed respect to Shanks that Marco told his crews to step back. Jozu was shivering when Shanks unleashed his CoC.

And the same Marco sent Vista after Mihawk, the same Jozu casually blocked Mihawk attack and the same Vista was smiling in front of Mihawk without showing any sign of inferiority.
