Yea Oda barely views gorosei as separate characters. This would never happen to an Admiral.

In all fairness, Robins connected to all gorosei. Agreed on Kuma tho. But Oda could make Garling Bonneys father which would overshadow the connection between Kuma and Saturn

Which is why the other four are so bland and uninteresting. Saturn got all the menacing lines, posturing, and being active in world affairs the last 4 decades.

Oda might build up one or two like Saturn but it’s jarring to see him toss away all that work for a cheap replacement.
