They matter jackshit, but if one small group of lunatics for whatever reason tries to push a "Yamato is transgender" agenda - which is just objectively wrong - people rightfully get mad.

When this small group of eliticist lunatics continues to double down and act all smug and toxic despite every single evidence being against them, you get the Yamato situation we ended up in.

It's their fault and their fault alone, despite what conspiracy theory they're coming up with.

Just look at Kiku - nobody got any problem there.
People joke about kiku a little sometimes but pretty much nobody has a problem saying she's a woman or using the right pronouns because the situation is very clear that she's freely living like this of her own volition + has her life together. Yamato is like a mentally abused and traumatized kid who has never been allowed outside and identifies as Oden specifically to piss Kaido off. Yamato's not even consistent about saying she's Oden, and identifies as Yamato a bunch of times too. Her character is supposed to be confused and coming to this because she feels like she has to be Oden to cope with abuse and fight against her father, not because its what she chose to be freely. If Yamato wants to be a man after this cover story even after accepting that she's not Oden? I'm sure pretty much the entire fanbase will accept that.

like I get people what some representation but do you understand how dumb you are when you force a character who the author says multiple times is one thing into something else and try and argue this nonsense point because you want it to be true. IT IS NOT TRUE just because you think and say it is true
Oda said luffy is asexual so why do you keep pushing Nami x luffy agenda

The end of the Egghead arc was worse than Wano, anyone with half a brain knows that.

In Wano, we had tension at the end:

  • Izo, Ashura, Mr-Go, and Luffy (who temporarily died) all died.
  • We had Luffy and Zoro in a coma for 7 days, both needing a blood transfusion and immediate treatment, whereas in Egghead, we had none of that.
  • Vegapunk, the hilarious guy who wanted to be killed, didn’t die.
  • Kizaru failed the mission, and the government did too, yet the message was still transmitted, so:
  • Vegapunk is still alive and even managed to transmit the message to the world, while the government has a wrong perspective on what happened and thinks they are the 'victors.'
  • The only thing the government actually got was the Mother Flame, which no one was interested in getting, so they weren't competing against anyone for that objective.
If it weren't for the fact that Yonko Luffy proved himself to be far superior to Admiral Kizaru and the Gorosei, I would say this would be the worst arc in One Piece.
