The scene with Imu and Saturn now makes me believe even more that the Five Elders are pretty much impossible to defeat in battle.
Even if another character is stronger and a better fighter as long as the Elders have their special immortality and possible unlimited stamina, that means they can continue fighting for as long as they want.
It seems like the only way to truly defeat/kill the Elders is either Imu has to take away their immortality as we see in the latest chapter with Saturn or someone has to defeat and kill Imu himself.
This also now makes me think that the battle against the Five Elders will be more of a stalling match until Luffy defeats Imu.
