im being serious btw, because our vigs apparently cant spawn camp and do the same when it comes to killing scum

but im cutting vigs some slack because the day start time is inconsistent, while the day end has a timer, so kiku's job is a bit easier

People look at the merge wrong this game. This wasn’t meant to be regular multi ball. It was one big split team even down to how their roles interacted with each other and roles across teams were designed with the other team in mind (both to complement and most importantly not be too strong when stacked together etc)

Now, that may not be everyone’s cup of tea and is maybe too experimental for some lol, and the game might could have benefited from a true serial I think maybe (but town couldn’t we’d have needed to shuffle some things)

Maybe they should try shooting at night. The vigs I mean.

Once again, if a merger is just something extra then yes it would require sacrifices and a lot of preparation, in my other games when a merger wasnt planned but the mafia teams wished for it through a wish or something I would require them to be heavily weakned and then nerf them if they merge,etc.

In this game the game was balanced for the mafias merging, it was the setup hence Kiku needing these defenses to reach a merge.

Because without a merge town wouldve stomped the shit out of the mafias, if played decently enough.
 
We didnt want to sour the game by handing out modkills and wanted to give everyone a chance.
Don't be so kind with few inactives when the others really wanted to play.
If the inactives are mafia kill them and make mafia reality play the game, not just Ratchet and a few posts from other mates, and if inactives are town then the Poe is cleared.
That gives more chance to people willing to play and contribute.

Again, immortal roles IMO are terrible design bcs they are least skillful roles to play with massive reward turnout

I was critical to novas about it and this is no different
again, not going to lean too hard into that, the point I'm making though is you gotta adapt to what's happening, all knowledge is valuable.

Can't kill a guy? Okay, either he's very tanky, he can't die, or something else has to happen for him to be vulnerable -
Then, you can try to deal with that player in other ways; role blocks or other shenanigans.

Just knowing you have found a scum, and knowing that they are seemingly impossible to kill is valuable in itself.
Sure, it may be annoying to know you can't really get rid of them, but the fact of the situation doesn't change.


It's like, if you're trying to paint a house with a hammer and it doesn't work, maybe try a different approach
 
Like, we could have theoretically not included a consig at all, made Kiku pro scum indie and made merge a host mechanic instead unreliant on a role at all possibly. But I think for scum, having a Consig is more fun lol.

Also we could have colored the two teams the same color and told them “you got another half of you team in the game also doing faction kills good luck” and it fits the set up lol. But I think rule of cool factor, the consig thing is cooler than that
 
we misslynched day 1, any other day? im not including the game removal shenanigans as a mislynch

how many misfires did we have?
One DP where Adam got lynched, but that's because watson was game removed last minute and the wagon went to the second highest wagon which was a tie between adam and someone else and adam got lynched.
