Oda does care about anime. For example, he said that he hoped for the anime team to make Wano as colorful as possible.
That being said, anime has too many inconsistencies to be considered canon. But in this particular instance, the glurgh was taken out of panel. Here, anime just proves to naysayers that sound effect was what some Zoro fans were claiming it to be.

Didn't see the word "Storyline" and i guess the storyline major then oh well 
One Piece world = story line.
Storyline Oda made in manga is entrusted to Toei to be adapted into anime thus makes anime non canon since Oda doesn't take part in storyline or One Piece World in anime.
The same luffy still gotta use Gear 3 or 4 on Fodder explain that @SDfear
