Like I remember when I hosted people would tell me they are in X with some person and would it be okay if they ignored and so on. I never had issue with that bcs I aint gonna cuck two people just bcs of some stuff IRL and of sorts.

On the note of Polar/Orca, the evidence against them is *circumstantial* which means there is going to be room for charity. Things like discussing liking a role that your brother just happens to be without any prior is something that makes me go "hmmm". On Worstgen, I'm not too bothered. The games are more casual and any conflict of interest isn't really going to threaten the enjoyment of the game. But it should be stressed that, generally, presumption of innocence is afforded in good faith, and if that good faith is challenged, it's not immoral to question the set up.

I can somewhat understand banning the Arctic brothers from Ranked since players there are competitive and playing in the same house always carries a bit of a risk (even if they aren’t cheating), but talking about that here on WG which isn’t even a competitive environment is excessive. It's not really about interpersonal conflict though. Any teaming arrangement inherently compromises the game. It breaks the premise.

It's not quite the same. In Polar/Orca's case, accidental slips like screens being on etc are a potential issue. With close friends online, someone has to wilfully cheat. Ultra's position is strictly concerning Ranked games, where things like this are avoided out of competitive interest. And there are quite a lot of things permitted here, that aren't in Ranked.

I personally feel like banning them based on that is very very narrow angle of ban and needs some heavy justification that no matter what you say is gonna be a bad one

This isn't really relevant to Worstgen anyway, unless they explicitly cheat they're welcome to play here. So it's not really on the cards that they get banned for speculation etc.

I mean, if you sit at the dinner table together and you just come from your room/apartment and played the game something might always slip. If you chat online with friends you still have some distance between you.

I will say this about game and why I really would show grace to say Polar & Orca. That's why I don't see the risks any different.

I will not call any names, even though I know at least one person here can guess who I'm talking about. I learned way after the fact, that cheating in mafia cost me games on OJ when I first started playing. One person here was actually the host of a game I got cheated in. They weren't the cheater I want to clarify it was two players in the game.
