I think his larger point is that certain fans of any character can be inflexible to the point of toxicity, that’s what I wanted to emphasize. People like that who aren’t willing to accept new information are the ones who make the rest of us look bad.

I suppose. In that case we have a fandom here that does just that, Unwilling to compromise, Can't fathom their character not being the strongest because of uncertain information we've yet to receive or so.

There are absolutely plenty of users like you’re describing who stump for that character, but again, that applies across the spectrum.

Don't get me wrong, I like the way Ulti is, her character is appealing, But her Pay Pay thing is a downer. If she had the Robin esk ness to her, She would be amazing. And the same for Black Maria, if she had more spunk, it would be equally amazing.
