If Usopp stays a fodder, idk how this bum can ever call himself a brave warrior of the sea. His giant masters are strong and Yasopp is strong, Usopp being a weakling makes no sense.

Yes, it was nice for him to be weak at the start. But if he never grows, it would just ruin his character for me imo.

Elbaf is the place where we should see Usopp transform from a weakling to a brave warrior. Coward Usopp should go away forever.


I think he could leave Elbaf with the following power ups:

• Fully mastered CoA and CoO from haki training with giants
• Giant elbaf variety pop greens. Basically everything his current arsenal does but far stronger.
• Possibly a tech boost from Lilith

I see all of this pushing Usopp into the 4th strongest SH position, right below Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji.

I think the East Blue 5 In their primes will be the 5 strongest strawhats

But Usopp will have to get one of the biggest buffs in the history of shonen neigh the history of manga if you expect him to surpass him in Elbaf

And since this isn't an isekai where characters get super boost every 3 chapters the most Usopp will get out of Elbaf is maybe a stronger sling shot and better observation mastery

Given how Usopp will get a major moment in Elbaf, I don’t think it’s hard for him to get something capable of beating Jinbe.

Bombs are very strong in OP. Pedro took Perospero’s arm with bombs and BM was even KO’d by them.

If Usopp gets powerful ammo, perhaps finding a way to make his pop greens gigantic like the elbaf plants, then I could easily see him having the ability to face YC3 tier characters.

Bonney doesn't have the strength or Stamina to use Nika mode to it's full potential

Momo is just now grasping how to use his devil fruit powers and when exactly did he get observation Haki?

In the future these two may very well be top 5 in the verse but right now they'd have a hard time getting past Vice Admirals

But seriously, I do think the "weak" SH will all get power ups in some form or another. Usopp can be the weakest strawhat and still be buffed to hell, esp because of the powerscaling luffy and zoro bring to the crew lol

HOWEVER, my money is on Usopps power up being a slingshot upgrade and better observation. I dont think he unlocks CoC and I would be surprised if Oda gives him Armament. It'd be cool tho, if he could harden his ammo like ben beckman I think?

Anyway, I imagine the "brave warrior of the sea" thing is worded that way to specifically allow him to be "brave" without being necessarily very strong

Being brave has nothing to do with strength.

The point of Usopp is that despite being weak he is still trying hard to be useful and to overcome his fears.

I have no hope for Lysop anymore.He did nothing special so far

On the other hand we have:

Nami,who tanked Ultis attacks and fried her via Zeus and fought Saturn and blocked his leg
Chopper,who has insane good defense in guardform(tanked BMs and Saturn poisonattack) with 0 damage and made Queen bleed.Same Saturn attack had to be dodged by G5 and everything(well,almost) melts upon contact with his leg

Robin defeated Black Maria.
Franky has to many good feats to count.Radical Beam is strong enough to make BM dodging it
No idea what Brook did in Wano and EH.I forgot it
Jinbei,Sanji and Zorro are self explained
