So why didn't he unlock it any time before?
Why didn't he unlock coc when he was training with mihawk? Surely he had to go all out and give it his all?
Why did he only unlock it in wano against king?

I'll tell you. He didn't have enma yet to suck it out of him.
Literally nothing you said means jack shit. 8 year old lolden was able to easily tame enma. Meaning he had enough coa to appease enma. So enma had no reason to suck out oden's coc to appease itself.
Zolo on the other hand, doesn't have coa on the level of lolden, cause lolden is a gary stu. And so, enma sucked out his coc and unlocked acoc for him. Teaching him how.
And what is acoc genius?
