It’s time to accept that Oda doesn’t care about CG, and they only exist for the sake of Buggy gag scenes and giving Oda a convenient excuse to have Zoro fight Mihawk before Laugh Tale @nik87 @Sir Yasheen

Yasheen is bugging for thinking Oda will recycle buggy and croc as final villains but CG is clearly important. It's just that he wanted to jump into the MCs right away

Sure, but that just shows that they’re the black sheep of the Yonko. Oda cares enough about the RHPs and BBPs to give them some screen time before Elbaf, but he doesn’t care enough about CG to give them the same treatment.

And this is despite CG honestly needing the most development out of all the Yonko crews. They’re way weaker than the other Yonko crews. They have one top tier in Mihawk, one YC1ish level character in Croc, and then Daz Bones I guess. The next strongest guy in their crew would get bodied by Holdem level characters… And then there’s also the issue of them having 0 RPs while the other Yonko have 3 out of 4 RPs.

There’s a million cool things Oda could be doing with CG. He could be showing them fighting Sengoku and Tsuru. He could be showing them fighting Fuji and Smoker. He could be showing them. Recruiting and freeing Weevil and Doffy or even recruiting Moria. He could be showing them fighting the Katakuri Pirates for their RP. He could be showing them recruiting the Katakuri Pirates to make them an actual Yonko level crew and gaining a RP… Instead they’ve done jack shit since their formation

Maybe because odas setting up Shanks vs Blackbeard by having them take simultaneous moves towards one another and cross guild isn’t a part of that narrative lmao

I guess Oda doesn’t care about the marines at all since Fuji and Ryo haven’t gotten an update, nor Sakazuki.
