Speculations How Oda will make Mihawk be Zoro's final opponent?

We know that Oda always make Luffy defeat the villain of each arc, while Zoro beats the strongest subordinate of that villain. Until this day Oda never changed this pattern. So if Imu is Luffy's final opponent, then following this logic Nasujuro must be Zoro final's opponent. We can say the same about Blackbeard's being Luffy's final opponent. In this case Shyriu's would be Zoro's final opponent.

But this doesnt seems right. Mihawk still seems to be Zoro's final opponent. So how Oda will make that?

There's two ways really, one is Mihawk with Buggy is now going for the One Piece (even if reluctantly) they may clash just over that objective alone.

Mihawk loses to another swordsman and Zoro fights the new strongest (very unlikely).

Maybe he takes detour from the usual setup and focuses on zoro exclusively. Or he will do a feat which makes him stronger than mihawk.

It's opposite with zoro.
Zoro Surpass them , wins the fight fairly.

Also I'm a firm supporter of Zoro vs Mihawk as Epilogue.

Zoro will become WSS before Luffy becomes Pirate King. Now that Mihawk is part of a crew it's much easier to predict when and how the fight will happen.
It'll be a Davy Back Fight and the last round will be Zoro vs Mihawk, where Zoro needs to win or everything will be over. All will depend on Zoro.

We know 2 things that are face:

• Zoro made a promise with Luffy to be WSS before Luffy becomes PK
• Imu and Gorosei are final villains

Mihawk has no place there
Even if Oda makes it happen, it will happene before Raftel

Buggy will probably become the PK and/or sit at the Empty Throne as the new king.
Dragon becomes Imu's victim.
Luffy Imu and/or Teach battle.
Zoro vs Mihawk happens.

Tbh Oda put a time bomb on the hand.
If King riku and other lifes were not imp to SH.
Zoro wasn't tired.
ZORO wasn't injured.
Zoro could have taken enough time to finish the battle.

Now putting the same situation for Luffy vs Kaidou where he needed Momo help.

Though I never count momo help.
But it was more of Luffy was running out of g5 than luffy wanting to drag the fight more.

imu will order doflamingo's release. the former underworld broker will be send to broker a deal between crocodile and imu. he will succeed. crossguild will fight for wg during the end of the series. buggy and the others will be made celestial dragons and fight the strawhats.

Imu being Final Villain is Headcanon
Mihawk being Zoro's Endgame is a Fact

Instead of using a Baseless Headcanon to Claim Mihawk isn't Zoro's Final Opponent
Why not Conclude instead that Imu is not Final Villain, it's instead who Mihawk Obeys

Mihawk is literally Opposite of Zoro in everything (Such as Samurai vs Knight - Pirate Hunter vs Marine Hunter - Clairvoyant vs Ronin ... etc)
And that includes as well Zoro being Atheist while Mihawk is Religious

Why would Oda make Mihawk look Religious? It means He believes in "Superior" Power
It means there is Someone that Mihawk doesn't dare think He is Superior than, that's who Final Villain should be,
Not Imu who can't get anything done & keeps getting Ls before He got even Introduced,
Oda clearly isn't treating Imu the same way He treated Enel

Zoro becoming WSS only after winning against his last ever opponent doesn't click right
It would be also better for Zoro while having WSS title fight an overpowered creature for the last time.
Luffy too would fight his final opponent after he attained the one piece.

For Mihawk to be the final Zoro fight Cross Guild still need to be in contention in the final war. As long as they are opposed to Luffy, Zoro can fight Mihawk and it makes sense, regardless of whether Luffy is fighting Blackbeard or Imu.

If they aren’t, then Zoro will be going into the final battle already the WSS.

I can honestly see Zoro having a 1 vs 1 vs 1 at some point, against a mix of Shiryu, Mihawk and Nasujuro. Maybe even a 1 vs 1 vs 1 vs 1. The cool thing is that they are all opposed to each other and could need to fight each other.

If we’re going for Skypiea callbacks, imagine we get a callback to these pages with Zoro, Mihawk, Nasujruo and Shiryu in their place

Ultimately, I think regardless of where Zoro vs Mihawk falls it’s still going to be the main Zoro fight we remember by EoS.
