Like it or not race is real and plays a role in our society.
No. Races are not real. But indeed, the concept plays a role in society.

The issue here is that it's not the concept that is discussed here but the legitimacy of the color of skin of a woman. Weither we like her or not, this is not ok.

We understood that there was missinformation in order to attack her, it was debunked, I think we can move on.

You do realize Kamala herself talks about her race right? It’s not a taboo subject
It's not about the fact that the concept is a taboo or not. If you want to talk about racism, we will for 2000 pages if you want. Here, what is discussed is her legitimacy as a black person.

So let's stop that.

A racialized person is a person victim of systemic racism in the sociological sence. A racialized person can be a person of color or a person with a confession that is racialized by society like Muslims or Jews.

So it could be anybody depending on where they live.
I do agree with the nonsense about KH's skin color though, but americans are obsessed with race and skin color for some reason.

Technically yes. Everyone can be racialized. But the reality is that white people tend to escape the process of racialization. This is why when we talk about racialized people in the sociological sence, it's usually people who are being racialized by white people.

Them moving to red states because the blue cities are unlivable will not at all change their mind, but it will make the red state more blue. Bad management of their territory actually makes them stronger.

I thought you were the one from Spain. Do you even speak Catalan and some Indian language?
Do you ever mind your own business? I’ve told you what I am before. don’t become nameless 2.0 and start developing weird obsessions with me.

That would imply I’m fond of you, or that I seek you out, which I do not.

I don’t disagree with what you’re saying here. I have white skin and I am mostly of European ancestry, but due to my cultural background there are many people that wouldn’t consider me white in America.

Whiteness here is all about being part of the in-group. There were times were Italians, Irish, French and even Germans weren’t considered white.

Exactly, it's something that is not obvious on the first hand when we talk about racialism. It's not really only about the color of the skins, but more about the vision people will have on particular population based on the notion of races (with every discriminations that come with it)

.
that is clearly what i meant...

Genocide is not okay yet we should be able to talk about it no?

I don't like the KH talk, but I am not above pushing against the stupidness from the right. You don't combat misinformation with censorship, you're just pushing them more into their echo chamber

So let's stop that.
