As stated at the end of Chapter 811, Ka Ryo Ten is about to reveal the new formation of the Hi Shin Unit.

The last such formation update was chapter 643.

What are you predictions for the HSU's new formations? What promotions are you hoping or expecting to see for HSU regulars?

For now we know:

• Kyou Kai is a general (ch 801)
• So Sui and En are 5K Commanders (ch 801)
• Bi Hei is a 300-Man Commander (ch 806)

This October it will be 8 years since the introduction of the Archer Bros. Suffice it to say, I won't hold my breath.

That being said, 60K is a lot. Realistically, several thousand of that would be dedicated to an archery division. I'm hoping Shin figures out a mounted archery solution.

Suugen definitely will get promoted to 2k or maybe even 3k commander.

Denei, Hairou and Ryuusen to 1k commanders.

Maybe Kyourei gets her own small unit under Kyoukai. I would actually like to see more detailed breakdown of Kyoukai Army.

I still feel like it's too soon for Kyourei to be anymore than a very strong foot soldier. Did she show any military knowledge last arc?

Nope. Ever since her Shiyuu drama arc ended, she’s been just tagging along behind Kyoukai everywhere she goes.

Occasionally, she’d be the one to tell her not to overdo things (i.e Gian arc) so she kinda acts as a voice of reason sometimes (ironic despite being the younger less experienced one…)

I personally don’t expect much out of her besides being a lowkey future deputy to GG KK. Probably gonna get promoted to 1000 commander or something offscreen soon.

They are basically leaders of Shin's core elites, so it's possible they will be kept at their current rank or will only get one rank promotion.

Honestly instead of introducing Mando, Hara should just fuse black and red Hi Hyou units and make Garo 2k commander in charge of it.

Disappointing on Hara's part but not surprising

The day will come when Shin finally becomes a Great General and the readers will the armor that he wore to battle in the very beginning of Kingdom for the first time.

Oh, and Kyou Kai may become a Great General at some point later down the line.

She should be able to grasp basic formations and the way of operating unit which is enough for a rank of 100-300 man commander.

A lot of generals in Kingdom probably got their general/great general rank mostly through their martial might alone, and their strategic/tactical experience are treated as side pieces.

It's only strategical generals such as Ousen, Ka Rin, etc. who rarely step foot into an actual melee zone that actively utilize their mindset needed for an actual general, which involve a deeper level of long-term thinking for the battlefield.

More so than a unit commander, Kyou Rei should already have a 10-Man squad dedicated to covering for her while she charges her breath.

There’s enough man power to go around to put her on a steady path as leading a small special unit down the line.

The Hi Hyou are heavy cavalry and Man Do supposedly brought a substantial number of the former Duke Hyou soldiers with him so I can see them making up 4-5K total. I’d like to see Ga Ro and Man Do at 3K and 2K respectively. 5K out 60 being dedicated to specialised heavy cavalry feels right.

I would REALLY like for Suu Gen to create elite swordsman groups similar to the one in the Fuu Ki Army.

I’d like Shi Tou to become a leader of a sword unit, Ei Tou in a shield unit, and Shou Kai as Kan To’s second in a spear unit.

It's also good that HSU got more operational units like resource transport and madical unit. You would think that this should pop out sooner.
