Still tho Zoro was far better written than any other One Piece character pre time skip and was the most complete character.

Luffy and Sanji with all their dialogues, their motivations or lack there of, was all shallow and lacking depth. Their words meant nothing, it felt like cookie cutter dialogues.

This is some of my favorite art on the setting aspect that i havent seen since Onigashima's reveal. Oda clearly didnt know what to do with egghead's backgrounds generally outside of some key points and it shows when he can easily do a 1000 times better here.
