Zoro fans hate the idea of science being another major source of power along with Devil Fruits & Haki -- they're already trying to convince everyone that swordsmanship is the third & the last in that dynamic

It was Mihawks stronger Haki that made him stronger than Shanks and strong enough to no diff all three marine Ford admirals in 1v3.
It was Zoros Haki aka Swordsmanship that made him scar the shit outta character who made Green Bull his bitch without even meeting and then obliterate even stronger character and flip the shit out of a character whose slaves are all admirals.

Science has been a staple of OP fights since Baratie. Naming a few: characters that incorporate science into their fighting styles: Krieg, Absalom, every fucking dial user, Nami, Franky, Queen... (even Baby 5 and Ceasar heavily use principles from science with their fruit)
Swordsmanship is just another style of fighting. It works a bit different than fighting hand to hand and yet it still uses the same power system. HAKI.
You are trying to separate swordsmanship from haki. In the same way you can separate fist fighting from haki. Both can be done entirely without it. But the only way to reach the peak of every fighting style in existence is to use it in conjunction with haki.
