He already was saved against both Akainu and Mihawk.
Ace got sacrificed for that very reason. Oda can do whatever bullshit to make Luffy survive. He's done it many times, and for most of the times no SH was involved or helped him

Same way on the opposite end of how shanks should be weaker than kaido but the gap really ain’t that big

Shanks or even Blackbeard for that matter don’t need to be stronger than kaido to give luffy just as hard if not harder fight because matchups matter a lot. Same applies to their commanders against zoro and sanji

That’s not possible. Oda mentioned in an SBS the eyebrow switch occurs when Sanji activates the science inside his body.

Queen by the time Sanji unlocked ifrit took a bunch of unnecessary damage because he wanted to see the rs. He was also taking damage from Marco, chopper, and even himself because he was fucking around too much

A king and queen that lock in from the jump not holding back and don’t fight like complete dumbasses are going to give zoro and sanji or beckman and roux a challenge

Looks like I need to explain properly.
In a hypothetical situation where Zoro/Sanji/Ussop are not there during fight against Arlong pirates, Luffy is not getting thrown in the water. The events won't turn out the same if we are changing the plot.

So what im saying is, if those guys are not there then Luffy is also not getting thrown in water. And if he doesn't get thrown in water, he low diffs Hachi, Kurobi, Chu combined and after that he will defeat Arlong.
