I think One Piece is probably one of the most meaningful series I've read.
It's writing quality is fantastic to bad at times.
I have 100 times more respect for One Piece than most religious texts, because rather than brainwash people, One Piece encourages people to find their own path and question the world to get there.
Acting like One Piece is comparable to classic literature and attacking people who don't agree is kind of nuts.
Animal Farm is a fantastic, well written book. It's just not comparable to a series like One Piece in terms of literary criticism... which is why I guess I stopped giving a crap about literary criticism to begin with.
