Shoumou vs Chou Ga Ryu

Jiaga is stronger than Shoumou I’ll tell you that much lol
Maybe, both would pummel shukai borrowed weight merchant pencil pusher Garyuu that’s for sure
Shukai Garyuu might put up a good show against both, it was a very emotional moment for him and he explained to Shin the source of his strength, the dying will of his master. Besides that he’s a scrub.

Shoumou was one-shotted by Ouki whereas CGR was able to give Shukai plains Shin a decent fight who should be atleast in the same vicinity as Ouki at that point.
How? He literally just started using Ouki’s glaive in that same arc and hadn’t mastered it yet

:snoopy:

Shukai plains Shin extreme diffed Houken till he literally died

while Bayou Ouki almost killed Houken mid-high diff if not for Zhaocucks interfering

That wasn't the reason. Shin was already used to the weight of the glaive by that time. Chou Ga Ryuu was able to give a better performance because Shin was pretty badly injured.

Shukai plains Shin extreme diffed Houken till he literally died
That Hou Ken win comes with an asterisk.

Should still be in the same vicinity strenght-wise, this version of Shin should be able to atleast push Ouki to a high-diff.

Him not fully mastering the glaive is ignoring that Shin had already been using a glaive for years and Shukai plains took 14 days.

Shin vs Houken was far stronger than Shin vs CGR

Houken killed his two mentors and masters
It’s personal and Shin weight this fight even during the earlier stage was through the roof

This Shin would have bullied a CGR who was also all out full weight against Shin and at its very best

And no shukai plains Shin wasn’t at Ouki level

The revenge weight has no impact on Shin's impression of CGR's blows.

This guy was sending Shin flying who at this point had already fought people like Renpa, Gaimou, Gyou'un etc. and should atleast be able to measure up to them.

How on earth does someone like Shoumou compare to that? What feats does he have that makes you guys believe he is stronger?

All of the instances in which Shoumou was hyped up was just to show how infinitely stronger Ouki was, but in the grand scheme of things Shoumou is really no one.

Where is this statement even substantiated by? What feats does Shoumou have other than killing peasant fodder?

shoumous entire being is factored around his martial might and physical attributes. The stats back that up and whilst by no means should they be gospel, a gap of EIGHT, is huge.

shoumou was one shotted because Ouki is just that damn good - far above a starving, base shin. When when you look at the mentality of the two, chougaryu was showing a final burst of deep passion or weight to defend the legacy and wishes of his master. This had manifested for over a decade and crystallized in this very moment, whilst Shoumou charged in like a damn fool thinking he was about to become a legend, with his head in the clouds, until it suddenly dawned on him that he was a damned fool, thus the realization dawned upon him before they even clashed, resulting in Shoumou figuratively shitting his pants.
