Questions & Mysteries Why hasn’t Zoro ever doubted Mihawk is WSS?

#1
I mean a lot of people seem to think that Oda is intentionally writing some kind of ambiguity regarding Mihawk’s title or strength or both. But the strange thing is that in-world, the character who this would affect THE MOST doesn’t seem to notice any ambiguity of any kind.

Zoro has never once said or thought to himself “Maybe Mihawk isn’t the strongest swordsman in the world.” This is Zoro with some level of experience too. He’s fought King, S-hawk, Fujitora, Big mom and Nusjuro. He’s at least witnessed Law fight, and Dory and Broggy, and has sensed Shanks’ big CoC that one time.

Zoro is a bonafide New world veteran now. He’s seen or fought the full range of combatants in the verse. And yet for whatever reason, he still doesn’t think there’s a single doubt regarding Mihawk.

In fact Oda even introduced reasonable doubts like Mihawk becoming Buggy’s subordinate and yet Zoro rejects that completely. Then Oda introduced a Mihawk clone that the vivre card directly says has Mihawk’s level of swordsmanship already. And yet Zoro clashes with the clone and comes out saying Meh.

Why hasn’t Zoro to this day ever doubted that Mihawk is the strongest swordsman in the World?

Probably because Mihawk is the WSS in name and in actuality without if or but or semantic. He just is.

idk man, why didn't Kaido have Mihawk in his top 5 strongest pirates if Mihawk has WSS title and 4 of those pirates has swords and WB was basically a long sword fighter?

Doesn't he trust Mihawk's title and have him above Shanks and other swordsmen like Oden?
Well Kaido knows Garp was Roger’s rival who supposedly almost killed Roger multiple times right? And Garp was also involved in the defeat of Kaido’s Captain Rocks.

and the vivre card recently said Garp is still near the strength of his prime that allowed him to compete with Roger

So what does that say about Kaido’s top 5 list?

Cuz it's a top about pirates.

Why has nobody ever doubted that Kaido is WSC? Or Whitebeard is WSM?
Same thing here. They have no reason to doubt it. Mihawk's proven himself to be the WSS.

Because he never met Mihawk, assface.

Because Garp is not a pirate
Also, Garp doesn't DEFFINITIVE title, that according to you automatically puts you over people without needing to fight.

NEXT

Ah cool, so you admit that that WSS title can be doubted and is not proof of anything.

When did Kaido say this was a pirate list? All he says is that it’s a list of people who can fight him… (which is strange since big mom fought him for 3 days and she isn’t on it)

Are you implying that Kaido is intentionally ignoring that Garp is a living breathing Roger rival?

Seems there’s something wrong with this list

When did Kaido say this was a pirate list?
When Goofy said he is there to surpass both Kaido and Big Mom and become Pirate King
Kaido was just questioning Goofy if he's as great those 5 pirates who surpass Kaido and can become Pirate King

Meanwhile Mihawk is a pirate AND wss title, yet he's not above Shanks according to Kaido
That means either Kaido
DOUBTS Mihawk's title
or
Mihawk's title doesn't apply to all pirates who fight with swords

in either situation, you lose the argument

Then why is Shiki not in Kaido's top 5?,

There's no way you could actually miss the point of my comment this badly
Why does Kaido need to fight Mihawk?
If he fought Shanks, then according to you he has to have Mihawk ABOVE Shanks AUTOMATICALLY because of WSS title

so if he doesn't have Mihawk above Shanks due to title, then that means Kaido is doubting WSS title

Then why is Shiki not in Kaido's top 5?,
Because Shiki is not that good

What kind of question is that?

Shiki who fought Prime Garp and Prime Sengoku for sometime, is weaker than Shanks?,
