The thing is the natural progression is supposed to be coa/coo/coc-->adv coa/adv coc-->adv coc, zoro reached the pinnacle of haki, I don't see why he would have such a fight at this point in the manga. Also Oda do not care about FS that much, he didn't bother to make Roger or wb use it for example because it's time consuming to even think about it

Yeah it's not even like Loki called Shanks a piece of shit or anything like this, he called him a "chicken" which is a pretty light insult. Even if Shanks is his mentor it feels off as a reaction.
