Lol, he's sending a small beam to the vast space and how far it is even reaching till it catches some meteors? It's a way higher chance that he's simply missing the meteors rather than him randomly getting some meteors.
There are many meteors on space but space itself is unimaginably larger than the amount of meteors there... Even the distance between earth and moon is 384,000km.
He could also just be catching some meteoroids because you know, there's a lot of it as well? Was that ever the case?
You say I'm coming up with headcanon but you're making entire situations about how's Fujitora randomly pulling some meteors by luck rather than believing he's intentionally catching them.
If I was biased, I'd claim Shiryu is stronger than Kuzan for sneaking on Garp while being owned by a hakiless slam. But unlike you, I'm capable of differentiating between CoO abilities. That's odd... All the animals in this chapter (minus that maned wolf which looks familiar) are from Strong World. I don't recall Oda ever using these bunch in the manga before, only appearing in video games since the movie came out.
Del Kong, Baku Zame, Mammoth Dense, Ettosaurus, the spear-headed snake, and that long-armed bear (except without the stripes). I wonder what brought this on. Perhaps a Shiki appearance is in the future?
