post ts Roger colors are awful, he has less aura.
OG Roger was like a mystical figure almost.
The problem is that already in Chapter 0 his design was ruined

Honestly it is harder to name characters not getting ruined than characters that got ruined.

OT:
Chopper, from dependable little ally to coward mascot
Nami, from sly, cunning thief to another coward with Usopp and Chopper
Whitebeard, from "touch his son and you will face Whitebeard's wrath" into "did nothing after knowing Kaido killed Oden"
Tashigi, potential Kuina shadow to total fodder
Smoker, potential Luffy's rival to punching bag
