Amazing chapter as usual !
Fun fact.
Remember Subvertive Affirmations guyz ? Well ... you got two on this chapter, and one that I want to mention here:
What is happening here is literally one of those "I have a bad feeling" moments. Simply because we know that there is a danger (Loki) about to roam in Elbaph, which corrupts what people are saying here and the fact that the reunion between Robin and Saul will be happy.
The happyness of Robin here, is TOO GOOD to be lasting (even if I would love to be wrong).
And Oda is in fact serving us the result of this setup right at the bottom of the page:
Saul is not moving... which means that the reunion will not be very happy.. BUT it could also be a simple bait and played as a joke later.
Just a bait ? Not so sure. because I want you to focus on what Franky is sayin here. This is what I explained at the time as the second level of Subversive Affirmations. The author is telling you EXACTLY what will happen, but you will still be surprised.
It's possible - and I hope I'm wrong - that Saul will in fact die, not because of a stroke.. but something else.. Which will be a challenge for Robin.. and will make Franky.. really cry.
Let's hope i'm wrong, because I don't want Robin to suffer more than she has, but let's be aware of that. Oda is used to tease important plot line through little plays and jokes.
