Kind of dumb why someone like him is left alive tho, he killed the king over a df, is a menace to Elbaf, a menace to the world.

I think the whole "coward" Shanks thing has indeed to do with Kid.

Loki is a proud Elbaf warrior. He likely wanted a 1v1 with Shanks, in which they both go all out, and let the best win.

But such a fight would cause a lot of damage, maybe even threaten the lives of thousands. And we were shown that Shanks tries to prevent meaningless destruction.

I suspect Loki calls Shanks a coward because via FS, Shanks saw what Loki was capable of and even before the proper fight started, Shanks cheap-shotted Loki, then had his crew bind him in chains.

hearing the praise for Sanji's, Black Maria moment made me go alright its time to jump the ship. Morj vs Melontee was something else.
