Who's Chrollo fighting this arc.... Kurapika or Hisoka ?

Reasons why I dont buy Chrollo vs Hisoka happening again:

- We've already seen how a matchup between them would happen
- Togashi will probably try to subvert audiences by making them forget about Kurapika and Chrollo's dynamic...even though Kurapika hates Chrollo most in the world.
- Hisoka is obssesed with Chrollo, but I'd say hes more obssesed with Gon (atleast a Gon thats strong enough to defeat him). I think he will get to fight teenage Gon by the end of the series....and get beaten by him.
- Kurapika is literally in this arc. They are literally parallel characters...and Kurapika is the MC of this arc. He hates Chrollo and would want to take him down for good. Kurapika deserves to be the one to kill Chrollo after what he did to his clan.

Hisoka will kill a few spiders and survive this arc. But Pika is deffo killing Chrollo this arc.

I'm having a deja vu. Like, genuinely.


Anyway, it could boil down to a "that guy is so hax and beyond evil, if I don't team up with Chrollo, neither of us would even make it alive" type situation.

Who is this guy ? Hisoka ? Why would Kurapika want to fight Hisoka ?

Yeah it would be ironic, but I dont think Kurapika hate for him, would cloud his judgement if for some reason he needed Chrollo help. Because if he truly despises him, his goal would still be to hunt down the spider.

I honestly don't see Kurapika defeating Tserriednich, Chain Jail is a skill that will be sorely missed. I believed that Tserriednich was involved in Sarasa's death and then Chrollo could kill him. Now I only see Hisoka capable of killing Tserriednich, but he has all the PT hunting him.

The only time Kurapika spared Chrollo was to save Gon and Killua's lives. Pika is reckless and self destructive...and doesnt care what happens to him. So unless he teamsup with Chrollo to save Woble(again why would this happen lol)....Pika is fighting him onsite.

I doubt his desire to kill the spider anymore; he wouldn't create the ability chain jail if that all he cared about. Why would he fight him on sight? You said it yourself, that he spared him because of his friends (saving his life), but now he's vowed to protect Woble & Queen Oito. This job supersedes his desire to fight the PT right now. The only one I can see that will enrage him to be self-destructive again, would be Tserriednich. So, if Kurapika survives this arc, it will be because of his allies, and yes Chrollo is a possibility.

What can Tsseriednich do that Chrollo hasnt done far worse of lol ? Would you team up with the killer of your family to protect some kid your assigned to protect. Plot will develop in a way that Kurapika can fight Chrollo. Woble still has some other guards to protect him.

Kurapika ended up not killing Chrollo because of Gon/Killua, who didn't want Kurapika to become a murderer, and by extension an avenger. Imo this seems to have lasted on, as Kurapika's main goal now is no longer destroying the Spider, but gathering all the Scarlett Eyes to find piece.

That being said, the self-destructiveness and grudge are still in him. Both Chrollo and Tserr qualify as targets for that. Seeing his friends' severed head will make him lose it completely, more so than seeing Chrollo, probably. However, he has no reason to hate the person who removed the head less than the guy who owns it, lol.

I could see a scenario where Kurapika, learning the whole Succession War might be stopped by stealing the artifacts, might form a temporary truce with Chrollo, thus prioritzing protecting Woble and getting the Eyes over revenge.

I would agree, but if I met my closest friends: Gon, Killua, Leorio, and Melody; and they all wanted to save me from myself, I would listen. Togashi develop his characters, so it wouldnt make sense for Kurapika to be stuck on York New. Even the PT dont want revenge anymore. lol without Kurapika, Woble bodyguards stand no chance. Plot points to Kurapika needing more allies to protect Woble.

I support this. We already had a Chrollo vs Hisoka plus Kurapika needs a proper ending for his hate towards the spiders (so that he can restart anew as well).

I can just imagine a chapter ending with Chrollo entering a dark hall and then you get 2 red eyes in the dark (or something loke that). Hisoka wanted to fight Chrollo but he already got that plus he can switch woth other toys, even if very few can compare with Chrollo quality, yet a lot of those are aboard the ship as well (Gin fits the bill, Beyond too most likely). There is also a chance we will get a tag team Hisoka/Kurapika vs Chrollo (like the Zoldycks vs Chrollo) even if it is unlikely.

I fuck with the theory that Hisoka is disguised as Belerante and will tell Kurapika about the Spiders.

I think kurapika alrdy got his chance at York new but he chose his friends over him

imo there might be some clashes here and there but ultimately chrollo would be killed by his lover

chrollo also states how much of a threat hisoka is and even if he dies then that’s no problem cause his alternative plan is alrdy in motion

these are some major red flags
