He got no new audience and can't keep the one he used to have so I don't know, it mostly comes down to consistency

Ok tell me, what exactly is the need for egghead arc? What has SHs even accomplished in that arc? whatever ending we got in that arc, it could have accomplished even without them. That was horribly written arc. Anyone with passion and dedication will not write such atrocity. So please stop. Blaming me will not make his current story telling ability better.

And wano was abruptly ended because of red movie. That is not a writter with passion and dedication do especially the whole buildup for that arc is to bring a dawn.

Stories like One Piece are meant to last not more than 15 years
Write it, finish it and then enjoy retirement by making sequels or canon movies for different characters/plots you didn't explore mucu
