Okay and why did Shanks even bother to have countless duels with Mihawk in the past? Why would Mihawk even consider dueling a non swordsman such as Shanks? And why wouldn‘t Mihawk want to settle the score with one armed shanks? Fun part, shanks asked mihawk first if he wants to settle the score. Shanks is a swordsman and Mihawk stands atop of all swordsmen.

- Never used another style on panel < shouldn't even have been a question after this point
- Has swords on his Jolly Roger like Zoro would.
- Had a duel with the current stongest swordsman that even someone like WB took note of and is bascially what first comes to mind when talking to Shanks.
- Uses a named attack that he learned from another guy who loved his sword so much he named his kid after it
- When Brannnew(who seems to be in the know) thinks about highest levels of swordsmanship in the world, Shanks is the name that he comes up with.

Only a Baboon would think that way, I always see the same orangutans on this website hating on mihawk religiously.
Obviously you need inhumane strength to do what Mihawk does, like Wielding Yoru the way he does. The sword doesn't make the man, that's why a swordsman has to forge his own black blade himself.
And if you take vivre cards, Vista's swordsmanship is said to be on par with Mihawks, but only Mihawk is called the WSS, so there is a clear distinction in strength. Hence why he's the strongest and not Vista.
