Oden in his prime Admitted he can not beat a Yonko and scarring Kaido (weaker version of Kaido) is most he can do.

Rayleigh - weaker bones - less physical strength - slower - weaker Haki - nearing his death - said he might lose to a Yonko in his prime.

He also damn near confirmed his prime self beats any Yonko. A Yonko himself ran away knowing what Rayleigh was in his prime.

Can't be CoC, Oda directly compared Shanks and Ray's CoC in FMI. At the very least they're in the same tier.

I'd bet Rayleigh simply didn't want Roger's move, he was his own swordsman after all. It's like asking why Zoro doesn't copy Brook's techniques.

He wasn't trying to be Roger's clone...Rayleigh has his own fighting style so why would he try to mirror Roger? It's like asking why any swordsman would use the same technique as other swordsmen around them. It's because all swordsman have thier own way of fighting.

Zolo unlocked CoC during Wano with the help of Enma. While Ace, Yamato and even Dof used CoC when they were kids.

Because Zolo's Haki speciality is CoA, not CoC.

Shanks's Haki speciality is definitely CoC as we know he used Kamusari at the age of 15.

If Rayleigh's Haki speciality is CoA not CoC like Zolo's, he might not able to do it. However Ray's style is different so he wouldn't want to steal Roger's style like Zolo steal Kinemon's style.
