You realize we’re not talking about One Piece right?

An author is an authority on their story, they’re not a god in real life you dunce.

Investment bankers that have literally every financial incentive possible to sleep as little as possible sleep way more than that.

This is equivalent to going “fake natty x/y/z isn’t on gear they’re just insanely hardworking” and while I’m sure they do some stuff just isn’t feasible/plausible

This guy is reaching 50 in one month.
And he keep doing weekly work. And a very high stressed job. Before OPLA this wasn't like that, yes we had breaks time to time too but after Opla started it became more serious and worse with Oda getting many problems.

This is not worth it men. I get it, it is his dream.
But if he keeps going to overwork himself like that, he will get massive problems...

And that is what im mad for.
You have shitty writer in Opla who waste Oda time and even disrespect him via changing his story(last Opla season) and Oda was clear mad about it.

Dude has his long time manga ongoing and now need to help a lot with Opla too because these morons have problem to Adapter a basic manga page because of own agenda..

This is sick, I don't wanna even know how many side projects Oda work alongside all this.
And his condition keep getting worse.

I rather have him having two weeks breaks for himself and his family chilling and relaxing rather to take time for Opla...

And since Opla started the breaks and health issues with Oda keep getting worse..

Even if it sounds Curiel, I hope Opla wont make it to season 3 or season 4. I rather have Opla Axe and not Oda...

I want to remind you what Greg said one time on X about Oda's quotes about his lifestyle and work: basically Greg said that most of the time what Oda said about his work hours is false. Because in Japan the work of an artist is almost considered a "fake job",not really worth of the same respect of other jobs. So artists usually to appear "better" for the japanese society standards,do exaggerate with what they say about their jobs,saying they work 24/7 etc. Greg also said that Oda sometimes is pretty hedonistic and parties a lot,like Luffy.
So i am not saying that Oda doesnt have health problems or that he doesnt work a lot,because we all know he does,and Greg didnt deny that either. But,the reality is probably "in the middle". His work conditions are not so bad as certain interviews made it seem.
But,this unexpected break is surely not a good signal,thats true.
