Speculations Does Akainu have Awakening and/or CoC?

Like I've said many times before
If he's a future Luffy fight, along with the portrayal and hype he's already gotten, then I fully expect him to have both Awakening and ACoC
He'll likely be a god tier.
But if not then I still expect him to be above the other Admirals at least

What will be the Logia awakening, first that needs to explained because when Luffy described Dof's awakening, he meant Dof's power become like logia, so Logia awakening should be something different than that as its a basic ability to turn environment into its power. As for CoC, he probably has same as Kizaru and Aokiji.

Assuming that logias can even awaken to begin with, considering Sakazuki and Blackbeard are the strongest characters with logias, I think awakening is basically a lock (again assuming it exists).

Even if Akainu gets CoC I suspect Oda won't focus on it kind of like with Big Mom so I'm gonna say no.

The thing with logias is that they're already busted even without awakening. Like even a trash logia basically makes you invincible outside of the new world.

And some logias (specifically Kizaru, Blackbeard, Enel, etc) are already kind of hax and busted to the point that awakening them might be hard to write.

If Oda says he made that Awakening for making Paramecias and Zoans equal to Logia, then that could be a reason why. If he still wants Logia to be superior to Paramecia and Zoan, then he can make up some different ability for Logia.

Nah. I expect a lot from Sakazuki tbh. Even if he's not above the Yonko I still think he'd be equal to Kaido or Shanks

Same with Mythical Zoans lol. Marco's fruit makes it so anyone without good Haki can't even permanently damage him.
Yet those can be awakened.

I agree Kuzan has more to show, but you can't deny that the ice fruit's portrayal against Garp and Whitebeard is terrible. Kaido/Shanks/BM (ACOC users and fire users) have direct counters implying Kuzan's fruit wont work well on them too.

Compare that to Sakazuki (AP buff) and Kizaru's fruit (speed buff) which dont have as readily available counters. You could see this at MF when all three fought WB.

Being able to cool down magma as a counter doesn't indicate that it will translate to general combat as well.
