Jinn/Spirits/Angels/etc are lifeforms made of Light/Plasma. For this reason, their appearances are often very strange to humans.

Humans are taught that flesh/machine is the end state of life, when the highest form of existence is being a conscious being of light. Makes sense since stars are the most powerful forces in the universe.

Humans come from the same spark, but, have to swap out shells due to entropy/biological decay. Light beings experience death, but it's a different procedure.

There's some science regarding this, as well, since I know you have no interest in the religious aspect (as do I, as I openly hate modern religion, and many past religions).

These beings appearing as fire is preferable in some cases as it's the lowest state of plasma and the least frightening to humans.

Ancient accounts of Angels/other alien beings make much more sense when viewed from the lens that there is advanced life capable of transcending through the states of matter at will through advanced science, and that these Ancient Beings would appear as Plasma/Fire (fire is plasma) in order to mystify the humans they were interacting with, and convince them of their power/superiority.

Most modern organized religion is a psy-op to corrupt people's natural state of beings and lead them to worship bullshit over loving nature/each other. There's still some good stuff left, but not much. A lot of modern religion is designed to make people susceptible to energy corruption, so they can be manipulated. Hence why all the people from these cults like Scientology seem so mentally broken; they're literally being possessed by energy entities that exist beyond the limited 0.0035% of the Electromagnetic Light Spectrum the human eye is capable of seeing.

The entire point of these cults is to find vulnerable people/make people vulnerable (especially children) in order to harvest their energy and control them. Since the beings are made of energy themselves, what do they need to eat? Yep, energy. Energy vampirism is very real, it's only considered fringe science because the people who rule the world want it to be seen as such. This is why the elite want to create a large, poor, enslaved populace; to feed off the misery.

We desperately need more actual exorcists, who aren't full of religious nonsense, and know tried and true methods of dealing with evil energy beings.

It's funny, when I was pro liberal with far right takes, I was anti-religion to a crazy degree, I was getting angry simply by stepping in a church. But the more I got toward the left, the more I became tolerant with it.

Don't get me wrong. I'm still anti-clerical to a certain degree, but now I do not consider this as THE fundamental problem.
