It's not really useful. Generally speaking, Hermione is going to be a strong enough fake claim to warrant a bit of a pass anyway. The bigger problem though, is that if you're town, by outing that you know Hermione is in the game, you can really only be one of a small handful of roles, and all are pretty important/major. Hermione is a loner, with very few friends, so there aren't many characters with a decently strong connection to her. You would have been better off saying nothing.

I don't really buy this progression to be honest. Not because I disagree with your conclusion - that much is probably more right than not, but it doesn't really feel like a natural one you'd make. It comes across to me as if you wanted to town read her, and then figured you'd use that to do it.

Actually, he has role played his flavour in the past several times - all as Town as far as I can remember. Think it's a good spot from Charlie, but I haven't seen the hint(s) that has referring to.

The only thing I don't like about Charlie is that his town read o Flower and then AM came in response to a vote from Michelle on him - I tend to think reads like this should be voluntary, and I can't help but feel that there is a world where this is Charlie just offering some reads on slots that are safe to town read (if town) to get that attention away from him. Not too sure on this actually being the case, but it's a thought I had. At the very least, I would say Michelle and Charlie are unlikely to be aligned as scum together. That's not a reaction I see him ever having from a vote a mate of his cast on him.

Mmmm idk, him trying to squeeze juice out of very little interaction is something he also did as scum where I caught him for it once, but I tend to think that of pretty much every entrance he makes these days. The townier part is him instantly admitting there's not much behind his opinions atm imo.

I don't mind this thought. Don't really recall the game you're referencing, but it's probably something I've done. The takeaway is that sometimes as town one needs to press, which by extension means making reads that have tenuous base in logic and evidence to use as a starting point. In other words, it's not a great angle to read me from, as you yourself pretty much note here.

PR could very well be a scum ability too, used to shut up problematic townies and potentially punish them if they break it.

As it's probably relevant, I'm not told of any punishment or potential consequences for breaking it, which lends itself to being a "just for fun" ability I would say. Not so sure about the usage, but I don't think scum would immediately go to making it harder for me to post unless there is some negative consequence, which I'll probably find out at the end of the day. I think it can be assumed a non-harmful action for now.
