The End and the Beginning
@Ratchet

what's your take on location thing btw?

how would you rather organize it and wdyt of people who took a side in discussion
Well I hadn't even read the OP when I saw you mention it. I don't think it's a bad idea, in principle, but the chances of executing it are slim to none. Probably better to have everyone claim where they went as they go - that way, we can at least cross reference locations to trustworthiness.

i mean yeah, inactives won't visit any location or at least they won't see that list but at least this way we're avoiding active people visiting the same places, i'd rather have people spread out at least N1 when there's chance we'll get like 50% of horcruxes

4 posts after that lol

Scum almost entirely drive the lynch D1 and a 16 person majority on someone would be most likely not scum being lynched. Odds definitely favor no lynching, now that it appears to be also plurality D1...that changes things slightly
Where do you get this math from? You've never lynched a wolf day one? Follow me, I'll teach you how, but no lynching ain't it.

I strongly believe we should coordinate where we search tonight. Wolves are going to go wherever they want anyway and they're also going to set their traps no matter what. I'd rather have the knowledge that town is at least coordinated and not searching the same spots in order to maximize our effort to destroy Horcruxes.

My opinion on the horcrux search is this

Someone said earlier that it's a game within a game and that's how we oughta look at it. Regardless of what we choose to do, how we interpret what went on during the search is part of the game as well. If I say ima visit the Owlery and I die tonight, it's up for y'all to figure out if I got killed because I was about to uncover a horcrux, or if I got killed in order to frame it that way, or if my death and the location are entirely unrelated. It's an info-related minigame if you will, and I do think we'll be forced to play it, because if this game's flavor is anything like the books, we need to find all the horcruxes or at least the majority of them in order to slay Voldemort.

Far as our strategy goes, I think that both not coordinating at all, and coordinating into the finest element aren't optimal. What I would suggest is that about idk, half of us explicitly split up in order to try and cover a good amount of ground, and the rest of us pick from the remaining locations. That way we got a good blend of coordination and randomization going, as well as giving people agency over where they choose to go, which in turn may be analyzed down the line as well. Lies will be told of course but that's just part of the game, that doesn't mean it's a waste of time or a poisoned chalice, we gotta take this horcrux search somewhat seriously as well.
Or just follow Tweet's plan, tbh fr fr

Still have to plan a bit. This is an opportunity for town to collect info.
