kizaru isnt a swordsman in any databook. fujitora and shanks are. And shanks isnt number one hence he is weaker. the databook doesnt exactly state marco is as strong as akainu
but the other does state shanks < mihawk.

I don’t think he’d be incompetent enough to let a Mes connect without defending himself. So far he’s only faced brawlers and swordsman who are pretty cut and dry in terms of their offense.

Lmao, you're not even trying. Kaidou saw them dashing towards him and was paralyzed up until his weapon was already kicked off his hand ( which btw means that he was overpowered). Kaidou was clearly shocked, but continue the damage control.


Thanks for providing the panels where Fuji blocks two attacks greater than what was needed to push Kaidou away, plus, your panels confirm that Fuji's CoO and reaction speed is better than that of Kaidou.

Akainu took on Marco/Vista/Crocodile/Izo/Jinbe/Inazuma and the remaining commanders while Kaidou cannot even deal with the retainers without getting send flying, lol

I think Kaido migth have an attribute similar to dragons in Legends which said magic doesnt affect them.

"Shanks' swordsmanship is at the top level" does not equal "only a swordsman"
Note how in the latest VC it says Mihawk waits for the 'swordmaster' who surpasses Shanks. Not the 'fighter'

I think Kaido's lucky that he faced Luffy's G4. I think Katakuri tanked Rhino Schneider and Kaido's fighting style is very fitting for Luffy since Kaido's durability is above Katakuri.

I think there are some characters that have higher attack than G4 and it's bad if Kaido keep tanking damage then counter. I think Kaido fighting style is different for every form.

In base he tanks the attack and counters. In full zoan he spams Boro Breath. Maybe he has hybrid form with different fighting style too.

Why do we ignore context so much in this community...lolz. The Scabbards not only jumped Kaidou and the calamities but also attacked them from their blind spot (i.e. the back entrance) so it makes sense that they were able to overwhelm them the way they did. I mean the whole point of the plan was to catch Kaidou and his boys off guard and the scabbards succeeded in doing just that. I reckon the shock from them being attacked from behind alone, should've been enough to lower their reaction speed plenty enough for the scabbards that are composed of 4 high tiers, potentially 5 if we add in Izo to take advantage of the situation. Plus, even the hit they landed on Kaidou was because he momentarily let his guard down from remembering that someone (Oden) has actually hurt him before but we know it is highly unlikely that any of them were able to as much as even scratch him so again I don't get what the problem is.

Scabbards got the jump on Kaidou and the calamities this chapter, which fair as they deserved to get their moment, but more likely than not, they are all going to get destroyed in the next few chapters. Fact that all of them are going after Kaidou I think, is proof that they are all going to get wrecked and I'm sure Kaidou remembering Oden would've only served to make him even angrier.

When Oda gave Akainu a feat that no Admiral in the history of the Manga pulled off, making Fujis superior in the process of that feat. If you are seriously trying to sell me that Akainu is not portrayed to be the strongest Marine by this point then do not bother to quote me any further since you clearly have lost your mind, i don't blame u though, not after this chapter.
