Nobody gets seriously hurt by their own attack backfiring
Luffy punched Kaido mid boro breath and Marco attacked Queen mid laser beam
Neither got taken out. Shanks could only defeat Kid if Divine departure was simply that powerful

To his credit, Kaido laid Law on his ass with a basic TB, despite the move hitting Zoro first and seemingly not even hitting Law’s head.
Big Mom never used a named ACoC attack on them and we didn’t see Law take a named attack from Teach either. At least not a direct impact from one like DD.
Luffy also only tanked a named ACoC move from Kaido after he became a sky splitter. 1010 Luffy could clash with Kaido’s nameless ACoC clubs, but was still easily defeated.
Even after becoming a sky splitter and gaining G5, Kaido was still able to blitz Luffy and Roger was likewise able to blitz Oden.
All of which is to say that the upper echelon 4B pirates are on another level and there’s no real contradiction with Kid being one shot by one. You could tbh argue BM could have done it if she used ACoC ikoku or something, but she just always underestimated the supernova, believing she’d win up till she lost.

Shanks said Kid was a big shot and shouldn’t be underestimated.
BM thought they were scrubs and fought accordingly.
There’s no reason why she shouldn’t have been able to kill them with a named ACoC move. She landed ikoku on Kid and hit Law with a barrage of punches.
She just didn’t do it because she didn’t think she’d lose. It’s that simple.
