Till this date, only characters who enjoyed hype on par with Roger are WB and Prime Garp.

And, only characters who seem to get that hype in future are Akainu, BB, Luffy and perhaps EoS Zoro (not counting Imu and co)

I didn't like the fact that Kuzan could trade punches with Garp, and eat adCoC so easily. Garp even at old age should be far above Kuzan in a fistfight and physically, that's his entire bread and butter, the only thing he knows. So if the C3 have another entire level ontop of this solid of a base, it's hard for me to imagine Garp defeating them if they're busting out awakening on top of that.

I think most top tiers can be competitive with RogerBeard. Defeating them is another thing.

But my point is Kuzan trading blows with Old Garp speak more about how strong Ex contender for Fleet Admiral is than how relatively weak Old Garp is.

Roger, WB and Garp were at pinnacle of strength in their primes and are the benchmark and seen as different beasts even by the likes of BM.

Obviously, current gen would match them and few even will surpass them but the list narrows down to Fleet Admiral Akainu (his bounty and portrayal literally reflect so), BB and Luffy for obvious reasons, Shanks and EoS WSS zoro.

I don't see any other yonkou or admiral beating them. They just don't have that kind of a portrayal.

Well Garps Portrayal against Aokiji wasn't as impactful as Rayleighs against Kizaru.

It seemed like Aokiji for sure destroys Garp in an old out no nerfs brawl.

Rayleigh vs Kizaru was shown as duel of two equals who were deadlocked with either couldn't move past others

That's a fair opinion to have. I think the C3 are all extremely close in power though, near equals. They may all be awakened, and have another gear not shown. You already have them matching Garp in fistfights, matching Rayleigh in swordsmanship, embarassing Yonkou like Luffy, without potentially giving anything near their all? Their potential is scary.

The opinion you hold for the general top tiers, is what I hold for Fuji and GB atm. Kizaru and Aokiji are kinda tied to Akainu unlike any other group of characters.

Bruh even after taking a cheap shot shock ville same way he took attack from G2 Luffy, Blackbeard was laughing and after that in 2 seconds he put Law in his grave and forget taking any further damage his face literally healed.

If Law vs Blackbeard was mid-high
Luffy vs Lucci was high
And 30 Broken Bones Zoro vs Kaido was extreme diff.

Don't forget Blackbeard is captain of one of the characters you glaze.

He did use his DF. He used Ice Ball and Ice Glove or what ever
It's just that his basic fruit powers don't really work on Garp, so he had no real choice but to start boxing with him.
You can say that Kuzan was nerfed because he didn't wanna hurt Garp, but that didn't seem to stop him from one:
Punching him in the face and trying to freeze him
Two: Putting a hole in him with a large icicle
