It’s less the matchup and more so the fact that Ryokugyu refers to Sakazuki with the same level of reverence and respect that Queen/Jack use for Kaido.

Don’t see that being extreme diff with that kind of portrayal

My headcanon is that Kuzan's real power is cold and not ice (his fruit name technically translates to cold)

Oda really drew Kuzan summoning ice spears like Gilgamesh at Marineford only to make his ice power look useless and turn him into a generic brawler.
