lol these bots will still go on with another false headcanon narrative bout shanks only for oda to prove them wrong again. I've never see a group shamelessly hate one of the coolest characters in their series just to be different for so long, get mudded and still continue. It's a joy to watch these morons cope again with "Shanks didn't get half his feats!!! Haaha this proves he's a nepo baby
". If anything, this directly disproves it because the one thing the CD officials hate more than lowly humans is a CD who helps them "tarnishing" the blood. Look at Doffy's dad and Mjosgard. You don't expect them to remember these though because Shanks hate blocks critical thinking automatically 
And with the "he still snitched to WB!!", yeah pure illiteracy at display from Worstgen no lifers again.
1) snitching =/= warning. Snitching by definition is telling authority when someone else has done something bad. Shanks didn't complain anything bad Blackbeard did. He just told Whitebeard to stay away. That's like the opposite of what a snitch does. A snitch complains to authority to make sure the wrongdoer is punished. He's actively making sure the authority stays away from the wrongdoer.
2) It was also kind of set up for future events. It was set up to showcase the fact how dangerous Blackbeard can be and the events he can lead to if not dealt with in the right manner (which Ace/Whitebeard didn't and guess what happened? Both of them ended up in the fucking grave in 2 weeks). It was also to showcase Shanks clearly knows something about Blackbeard the rest of the verse and even us readers, don't. But of course, no critical thinking to acknowledge all of this. Just spewing hate (by using the wrong definition of snitching) which makes no sense.
Don't worry. They will cling onto another fake narrative as they do only for oda to humiliate these clowns again.

I’m kind of surprised that shanks fans are celebrating this. Snitch memes aside, it actually being him who spoke with the gorosei and/or who teleported onto elbaph would make his character a lot more interesting and complex. And even more plot relevant.
Which is precisely why I don’t think oda is going to do it. At worst he’ll make shanks a snape or itachi like character, no more.
