Questions & Mysteries What agenda does Ryokugyu's black blade hurt?

#3
In theory it doesn't hurt any agendas- In fact it helps them. Or, well, it helps the Mihawk/sword agenda in particular, since Aramaki having a black blade means that someone else forged a black blade and yet Mihawk still has the strongest sword in the world and is also stronger than the person who forged the other black blade.
The only reason it'd hurt the agenda is because certain people like to push the (admittedly stupid) idea that forging a black blade means you're the cream of the crop in terms of swordsmanship, and that anyone who hasn't forged one is below you. That results in takes like Mihawk > Roger which is... Just horrible to say the least.

It hurts the sword agenda. They need black blades because it is the one thing swordsmen can claim that makes them special in an ocean of top-tiers

They're never going to have the best AOE or AP feats (devil fruits), or any kind of hax (devilfruits and haki). Or the best AP (haki). But they can at least have an indestructible sword

hows saying mihawk is > roger in swordsmanship a horrible take

even oden self proclaimed his sword style as the "strongest" when he knew roger, so clearly he though his swordsmanship was superior to roger.

Eh I just don't believe it. Mihawk could be above him in swordsmanship but I can't see it personally
Also so what? Yeah Oden said his style was the strongest. But Don Krieg called himself the WSM. Do you think Don Krieg is above people like Rayleigh and Garp now? Because he said he's the WSM?

Yeah and Roger got stronger haki than both. Having better sword skills ≠ better coc. Roger and shanks neg diff kokuto users.

This btw.

But It hurts even two other agendas:

- the Admiral are fruit merchant nonsese, which should have been long dead but here you can find whatever;

- the Yonkou>Admiral agenda, since an Admiral having Zoro's final Power up and an haki feat that not One OG Yonkou have It bad for them.

That's why the wall.

I don't get it. Why does it spark a debate?

It doesn't hurt any agenda.
Simply a lot of people want GB to be included in the most special group of individuals like Zoro, Mihawk and Ryuma.
You know why?
To drag those 3 down, not to lift GB up. The usual pathetic efforts of downplay of the 3 that cannot be downplayed because they are the very peak.

The people who want drag those 3 (under some limits) are Just wrong.

The BB upscale Ryo, not the other way around since the exceptionality of BB remanins anyway for objective reasons.

They love to overlook the fact marimo needed unlock CoC to in wano we know everything he picks up will help him get closer to Mihawk forging his own kokuto. The admiral twerkers know twerkbull does not have one single quality as conqueror hence why they make kokutos all about CoA. When the lies catch up with them we get to see more of that bum watch them change their tunes :milaugh:
