In regards to cross guild they are both equally important. Crocodile and mihawk don’t view either as below or above themselves because if they did them working together couldn’t even happen. They view each other as equals and have genuine respect for each other

There’s a clear difference between kaido working together with orochi, Doflamingo with Caesar, or even luffy with law/bege

A conqueror working together with someone is normal but a conqueror viewing someone as their equal isn’t
