Sure the governments might elect right wingers like Trump. But even Trump is a lot more moderate than some libtards like to let themselves think.
The issue is that the economies of western nations are dependent on migrant labor. They need it to offset declining birthrates and what’s more, migrants are easily exploitable as they often have less rights than citizens.
Mass deportations would crash the economy. You would turn the population against itself and get rid of countless hard working people.
The people in power know this, which is why even Trump won’t go as far as the nazis wish him to.

Mass influx of migrants is harmful for the native society.
Complete ban on migraints is detrimental as well.
There has to be a healthy balance.
Having that said, it's constitutional duty of leaders of any country to put needs /security of their own citizens first over moral obligation to take illegal migrants in massive numbers.
Leaders of any country owe the service to their citizens and not to migrants or any other nations.
Taking Refugees on humanitarian grounds can only be possible on limited scale as well

Saw the photo of LA fire aftermath - whole community is gone..28000 acres, 10000 structures are massive numbers.
A disaster which was entirely foreseeable and preventable to large extent went out of hands because of mismanagement and incompetency in the public offices.
Insurance costs would sky rocket and we might see many getting insurance claim denied as well.

I don't think people realize how punishing nature is. LA's geography is conducive to wildfires and our world is getting warmer by the day.
The equivalent would be the florida keys flooding, which would be predictable seeing how it is right in the middle of the sea, in a hurricane prone zone and the sea levels keep increasing
