Can someone explain Accerator thing to me?
Accelerator is the epithet, or nickname if you will, of one of the main characters.

Basically antagonist turned protagonist type of guy, he even has his own series featuring him as the titular character (A certain scientific accelerator)

There are several series in the "A certain" franchise, such as Scientific Railgun, Scientific Accelerator, Magical Index and others (?), where the stories follow different characters from different backgrounds, and their unique PoV from a shared plot and timeline.

In other words, all the series have overlap with one another because it basically tells the same story from different perspectives.

And Accelerator happens to be one of those titular protags, but he first appeared in "A Certain Magical Index" (I think)

Now, don't be mistaken, I am not a flavor expert. I have just watched this series once a while back.
I just know the basic premise of it

Random Voting Shenanigans - MU term for the part of D1 where people just vote whoever they feel like.

Ah, I was unaware of how he plays.

Yeah, in retrospect I don't think its necessarily scummy, just wanted to point out that Orca's true role might not be a treestump, even if he didn't deny it. (I mean, why would scum!Orca voluntarily throw away a towny fakeclaim someone gave him?)

Very positive, Orca seems to be the most suspicious player here.
Guess we're going the Orca route then

So, I am not sure how much people have understood the lynchpin thing, but we need to be very careful with our lynching here. We need at least one person from the science and magic side to reach our win condition. And, that we stand the risk some of us within those two sides are lynchpins which give mafia a way to win.

It puts a damper in how we approach lynching. And, I dunno about you guys it seems we need to prevent that and mafia from controlling the vote I'd imagine. I like to think with me not really knowing the lore but from my limited reading, of the wiki it would appear that this aeon shifting could be powered by the lynchpin targets which complicates things. Like being lynched/killed powers them based on level I'd imagine. I am not gonna act like I know but if someone can clear up for us that knows the lore better is that the goal of the aeon to absorb powers to shift?
This is beyond my knowledge of the flavor, back when I watched, Accelerator was the current antagonist that later turned protag. And just in general I remember very little of the details regarding the story- like sure I remember some plot points, but I think that they are largely irrelevant for this game.

But beyond the flavor crap, I have to be honest and say that I am not really wrapping my head around the lynchpin system.
Though put very simply, there are certain characters who if lynched, will benefit scum in some way - right?

I'm pretty sure that Accelerator would fit a such criteria - but question if it doesn't matter how they die - just that they die?
Thanks
Looks like Yoho can self resolve
I am not sure if he can "self resolve" but his claim is problematic either way
I will say I am working a strat that would ensure our win on our end. I will say this: if people who vote me with no mech and legit mech cause I will know if you are lying, do not believe them. When I tell you this and you are town. Believe me.
I'm sorry, what is the proposed strat?

How is it going to help town solve if someone tries to wagon for you using "fake mech" and you knowing they're lying?
With two town sided teams. 22 players.

You guys think mafia to town ratio is 5 or 6 mafia?
Wouldn't be surprised if there were 6, ratio wise

Author really likes antagonists turning into heroes trope xd So it's basically it's like claiming Naruto in Naruto game. I guess he can be one of targetted roles so yeah, sounds like the last person who should be lynched on D1.

See we reach an enpasse. because revealing my strat openly would not be helpful to us and I can't disclose this information right now. I don't have a whole view of the landscape from my limited information. At this point, my understanding is certain characters being lynched can eliminate the entire town core of that team (magical and science). We have to be careful how we approach this and where I reach my dilemma cause I am not sure how we should proceed. it's problematic.

Hearken unto me, Townies of all!
