Lynchpin means that the scum team needs to eliminate specific targets to win. We can see the scum team‘s win condition in the opening post. We need to prevent that from happening.

So, I am not sure how much people have understood the lynchpin thing, but we need to be very careful with our lynching here. We need at least one person from the science and magic side to reach our win condition. And, that we stand the risk some of us within those two sides are lynchpins which give mafia a way to win.

It puts a damper in how we approach lynching. And, I dunno about you guys it seems we need to prevent that and mafia from controlling the vote I'd imagine. I like to think with me not really knowing the lore but from my limited reading, of the wiki it would appear that this aeon shifting could be powered by the lynchpin targets which complicates things. Like being lynched/killed powers them based on level I'd imagine. I am not gonna act like I know but if someone can clear up for us that knows the lore better is that the goal of the aeon to absorb powers to shift?

Certain characters are lynchpins for both town factions. None of us are told how many or who. So, if one of those people get lynched, that entire alignment loses. You need to watch what the fuck you are lynching or pushing for a lynch and Mango this makes you look fucking bad despite me telling you this you are pushing a lynch and I do not like it.

What everyone should do tho is to look up their characters and see if they are important characters or in any way related to Othinus/Gremlin and if we are about to lynch them they should definitely claim. That’s the most important part.

First of all, this statement makes absolutely no sense to me.

It's not town who are trying to find the lynchpins, and seeing as the two towns are two sides of a coin, no singular character can belong to both Science and Magic.

None of us are told how many or who.

The Opening post pretty much has a set number of conditions to fulfil, I don't believe that there are any more hidden conditions - especially considering Ratchet's wording when he announced he chose to reveal them.

Obviously we don't know *who* these targets are specifically, we are already informed about the gist of what these conditions are.
