Franky should get it for differenr purposes like being able to use them to bend his own light into different shapes, chain beam, or simply a saber similarlu how Kizaru creates but Franky's version using those gloves

Having Luffy use them is pointless when he has haki + toon force

Oda's been hyping up this concept a lot, actually.

Gear 5 Luffy grabbing Lightning vs Kaido.

The Holograms/Hologram gloves in Egghead.

Now we have Rainbows that you can create/ride.

Hologram technology is clearly going to be big at some point. Imagine Holograms that can be turned "off and on" in terms of tangibility? Making it so the Hologram only exists physically when the controller wants it to? That would be very dangerous tech.

Watch holograms be the basis for logia powers. Once VP realizes he can apply holographic technology to his fake DFs, he will clone Akainu's fruit in a heartbeat.
