With Gunkos mummy theme, if Oda is going a “monster” theme with the Holy Knights then Mihawk may legit have a connection to them.

Personally, I don’t think Mihawk was ever a Holy Knight, Mihawk was a pirate for decades who went to the Pirate Kings execution, he doesn’t seem like one who’d be a holy knight. However, I think it’s possible the Holy Knights stole his crew and that was the Great Betrayal he suffered. Perhaps he fought Garling in the past and Garling tried recruiting all of them because Mihawks strength; Mihawk refused but Mihawks crew accepted.

This would explain why Mihawk would then hunt Marines, trying to gather information on the holy knights the only way possible, by attacking the only members of the WG military he could find. And would deepen his connection with Shanks even further if Mihawk has a connection to Garling.
Like Mihawk was betrayed by the marines to the point its for oda to mention it to be in a group that in WG hierarchy outrank them?
Seems like a poor explanation to me

  1. Crocodile never felt truly respected by Whitebeard with him trying to prove himself by going after the one piece
  2. Mihawk never felt truly respected by Garling with him trying to prove himself by going after the one piece
  3. Buggy never felt truly respected by Roger/shanks with him now finally trying to prove himself by going after it

:kata:
Still believe mihawk is part kuja and the son of Rayleigh and shakky but now that we know the holy knights recruit people it’s definitely a lot more likely he was one at some point

No he said Mihawk holds a grudge against the marines and has suffered a great betrayal. Basically saying these are two separate things not that he was betrayed by the marines.
O: Mihawk has a past that makes him resent Marines, and he has suffered a great betrayal.
Thats the official translation quote
Taking your theory tho i dont see how it makes sense. So he hunt down marines to find infos on the HKs and resents them for it for not having it?
Eh

Mihawk was for sure a HK at this point
Based on what?

One Piece's Earth had 8 moons in the past? :quest:
The panel shows only 6. But there are moons in the same orbit, so the other two could be hidden behind the Earth.
If we're going based on the concept that Pluto isn't a planet, IMO the symbol on the shield represents the eight Planets revolving around the Sun. Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune.

We know these planets exist because of the Gorosei, the Elder Stars/Planets, and the chapter "Planetfall".

As a Gnostic Alchemist, I firmly believe that each planet has a core comprised of a minor star: https://www.reddit.com/r/conspiracy/comments/16pddnu https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Smoky_God

So, in this case, the WG would be a Earth Centric worshipping cult, like the religious Christian cults, amongst others, focusing on the Earth being the center of the solar system, rather than the sun. This is why the Ohara model shows the earth as the center, rather than the sun; the One Piece world, due to the WG silencing "Sun" or "Nika" worship, believe the Sun revolves around the Earth.

If you look at Imu's throne, it depicts a narrow stretch of the cosmos/stars going straight upward in a point. It also depicts one sphere in a center surrounded by four other spheres.

This is the symbol of the WG, and, IMO, represents the original four planets worshipped alongside the Earth/Vearth worshipped in Jaya.

The original model was the Earth/Vearth in the center, surrounded by four planets/stars. Jupeter has long been called out as the outlier, since he appears younger; I believe the original four allies of Imu were Mercury, Venus, Mars, and Saturn, due to their ages matching.

Jupeter was added later.

So, Elbaph and Nika affiliates worship "the Sun God", IE, believe the Sun is the center, Heliocentric, while the WG believes the Earth is the center of the universe/solar system.

The symbol of the ancient religion is the 8 original planets surrounding the Sun, while the WG logo is the 4 planets originally worshipped orbiting around the Earth/Vearth/Imu.

The original "Dragons" ruled the world, hence "Celestial Dragons", as Kaido being the "Wisdom King". This is what Roger had on his ship; a Dragon egg. This is why Dragon is named as such: Dragon, the "Rebellious Serpent", knows of the past, and knows that Dragons used to rule the world.

This is why Ryugyu palace, constructed in the past, has a Dragon as its figurehead:

If the Ancient Kingdom hated the Celestial Dragons, why does this exist?

Because Imu, the evil Dragon took over the world/WG, and slaughtered the rest of his kind in order to rule the world. This is why Momo being Dragon Royalty is so important; the original rules of the world were Dragons. Imu is a Dragon, but the rest of the Celestial Dragons are outright frauds.

The Dawn is Imu's enemy, because the Dawn, the Will of D, the Will of Dragons, the Will of the true Celestial Dragons like Monkey D. Dragon and Kozuki D. Monosuke, the Will of the Dawn (Celestial = Dawn), is beyond the Earth/Vearth. Sun-worship LITERALLY destroys the entire concept of the WG as the highest authority.

The World has always been ruled by Dragons, and this was the conflict between the Ancient Kingdom; Imu tricked the nations of the world into believing they should usurp the Dragons, the Dragons shown in Ryugu palace, the Dragons shown in the baths of Alubarana's palace created 4,000 years ago:

The Dragons themselves were never evil. Like the Kozuki clan, they were betrayed by a cowardly Dragon (Orochi = Imu), who relied on powerful forces (the dark magic the Gorosei/Gunko use) to take over a kingdom. Wano, an Evil Dragon betraying their own kingdom while being ruled by a greater Evil Dragon, is a microcosm for Imu blaming the Kings of Ancient Kingdom, like Oden was blamed for Orochi.

Joy Boy was known for dancing/cheering people up. Who else was betrayed by an Evil Dragon, and then made to dance for others to save his people? Oden danced to save Wano from Kaido. Nika danced to save the Ancient Kingdom from Imu:

The Ancient Kingdom Joy Boy came from wanted to ally with the Celestial Dragons; this was Joy Boy's promise to Poseidon to unite the two kingdoms into One Kingdom, One World, One Piece.

Imu destroyed this, and the Noah, meant to bring the Fish-Man of the Ryugu, Dragon Kingdom, (Ryu = Dragon), to the surface to join the Dawn Kingdom, which ruled on the surface. The Fish-Men/underwater Dragons wanted to join the Celestial Dragons who lived in the sky/amongst the sun.

Will of D = Will of Dawn + Will of Dragon. The Will of the Ancient Kingdom of the Dawn to unite with the Kingdom of the Celestial Dragons, to become One Piece.

To Unite the Dawn with the Vearth, like Jaya was launched from sea evel/the ground to the sky/celestial realm, and Calgara, whose winged people came from the sky/celestial realm, united with the humans like Noland who lived on Vearth's surface.
