Deskainu was in a direct confrontation 1v1 against a heavily injured, brain-dead, and tortured Kuma.
Because of how much you all hype him the least he should do in this case is finish him in one move yet he failed.

Yes, and the later directly AVOIDED that confrontation, lol. That's the whole fucking point I'm making. This guy went to Egghead, KOed a Vice Admiral, sent Saturn's ass to oblivion - somehow you CONVENIENTLY IGNORE that - but god forbids, Akainu doesn't kill him in that 1 second timeframe when Kuma 1.) got half his face burned and 2.) got his feet melted...
Akainu gets shat on for not killing a 1 HP OG Warlord in two moves - which didn't aim vital spots - while someone comparable to Nusjuro got freaking smoked by 1 HP Kuma and this somehow gets neglected. Make it make sense lmao.
Fine? This was about killing characters. Did Kaido kill Luffy? Or any other character in this arc aside of Oden? He brutally injured the Scabbards but Kanjuro was the one killing Ashura Doji, lol. Are you also forgetting what happened to Jinbei the moment he stepped into a confrontation with Akainu 1vs1? Dude was on life support after one punch exchange, lmao.

It's legit hard to fathom how insane Katakuri was. This is what Snakeman did to a man people perceive on the level of Whitebeard and Roger.
Kaido didn't know where left and right is. He immediately realised that what he needs is an upgrade otherwise he can't deal with this shit.
FS literally allowed Kaido from being unable to react in his strongest mode to dancing and mocking Snakeman in his slowest. If this doesn't tell you how insane FS is, you need medical help.
Katakuri literally a first commander arguably dealt with Snakeman even better. Unlike Kaido, Katakuri doesn't have super tough Skin, every punch hurts and he needs to react ASAP.
He caught on to how it works and danced around it like Kaido and getting counters in immediately.
There's a reason FS is an ability only the mightiest have.
Katakuri was unbeaten with a canon record, a milestone for the Protagonist to surpass, but I'm being gaslighted into believing Zolo wins even though he has not shown a single ability that allows him to counter Kuri Only because Zolo fans say so.

If you consider Deskainu's feat of killing ace a feat that you can use to compare others I can use Shiryu's feat since in both cases Garp and Ace just threw their bodies to protect who they love without caring about consequences and this has no relation on direct confrontation where you prove your worth, if Akainu can kill Ace in one attack in a direct confrontation his ass wouldn't have failed that hard against a dead mf.

Even if I consider your - trash - analogy as a valid counter to mine, you have to consider that 1.) Shiryu didn't even kill Garp with that stab and 2.) Akainu managed to KILL someone with a single basic magma punch. Someone who was strong enough to compete with Yamato. You think this would went differently if Ace wasn't protecting Luffy? Did you forget that Ace BURNED his entire arm when clashing with Akainu in a direct confrontation and was immediately owned due to Akainu's lava being the superior element? Did you forget that Akainu put Jinbei on life support after one single attack? Did you forget that Akainu's single attack melted off Kuma's half of his face even though mf was dodging, then took his feet when that guy was RUNNING AWAY from him?
