Bro is literally the Uchiha of the series, arguably the worst written character for the confines of this series, who breaks any rationale for generals and warfare. Like you wanna look at PLOT... Kanki is the epitome of that.

Blud's highest strategy that mangaka dickrode was literally "let's wait it out" "disguise as the enemy and sneak HQ". Riboku did this series a favor, so that gimmick ass mf doesn't shitstain the series more.

Yea if you're into typical shonen emos like the Uchiha and such, he's the typical edgelord. Never been the type of characters I like.

But his writing is the same issue with the Cross Guild, you ruin other characters by simply existing. With Cross Guild, they ruin the entire existence of the marines and WG as organizations. With Kanki the opposing general has to be downgraded or PIS'd for Hara to work Kanki's gimmick of being a strategical genius by being unconventional, when his unconventionalism is just basic strategies 90% of the times disguised in a gimmick.

Idk man I read shounen for entertainment value not for some deep stuff, sure I can appreciate well written characters like Fujitora but I also love absolute chads like Kanki who are just highly entertaining everytime they show up lol.

Everyone complained about Kanki doing a basic and logical maneuver to ambush Riboku, who was blinded by his emotions fearing for the common folk, but Riboku suddenly spawning a 300k army forming a cage around Kanki, who doesn’t even have a couple hundred meters advance party? Sounds good
