Funny that you mention that because a few days ago I remembered NF and how we used to troll there all the time. It's really been a long time. I've been so so but could be worse. Hope you've been fine lately Ekko.
I remember in DDL's ToG game we rewrote the quoted posts from other users. It was quite funny.
Yeah I guess it's been like 5 years or so since it was during the Covid time that we met there I think. And damn you're right, we're getting old lol Also playing Kijin's games and dice games. Those were the times. Each post was peak trolling.
Also January, Soca with his Kpop avys, Flame (which I think he's still in a disc chat popping up from time to time to talk about ToG), Mariko, Lurker, Mr. Popo. They still there I think but we since migrated to greener pastures. Part of me would like to relieve those days ngl (no little part of it because it was a time I had a tons of free time due to Covid xD)

I think my next mafia game will have an Original flavor, back in the Oro Jackson days together with a good forum friend of mine, made what started out as a jojo fanfic spinoff for shits and giggles - that evolved into something a bit more sophisticated. However life happened and we went our separate ways, and so the passion project died with it.
But perhaps I can spark some life to it again in the form of a Mafia game, there were a lot of fun and creative concepts in terms of power system, I believe it can translate well into Mafia.
I had made some rough role ideas quite a while ago, so I have something to work with.

Just short trivia, the story was called Dong Dong's Bizarre Adventure (DDBA for short), it follows the titular character Dong Dong on his misadventures that leads him to all sorts of predicaments, drug wars, mafia dealings and much more.
The setting is 1920's Shanghai, which is during the peak of the Opium wars.
And without going in too much detail, the powersystem is heavily inspired by JJBA's Stand Power, though they have their own distinct flavor that separates itself from Stand Power.
Anyway, I won't go into any more detail for now. You can look forward to seeing some unique and fun roles for when the time comes aorund.
